CHECK YOUR CREDIT BEFORE APPLYING
It is highly suggested that you obtain a copy of your credit
report before submitting an application for a car loan. Although we
do have a 98% approval rate, and can help individuals with the worst
credit get the financing they need, having erroneous negative marks
on your credit report can greatly affect the rate you get for your
financing. It can also effect the maximum loan amount you are
eligible for.

Outdated Information
One common error on credit reports include outdated information.
Other than a bankruptcy, any negative information can remain on your
report for only seven years.
Inaccuracies
The credit agencies also often make mistakes about the information
listed on credit reports. Common mistakes are an incorrect mark
designating a late payment, a foreclosure that never occurred, ect..
If there are inaccuracies listed or
any information older than seven years on your credit report, they
can and must be removed immediately!
Removing Inaccuracies
After
reviewing your credit report, you may find several items that you
feel are incomplete or incorrect and should not be on your report.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) permits you to challenge any
entry on your credit report and force the credit-reporting agency
to investigate and prove the item.
Write a certified
letter to the agency in question and explain the nature of the
dispute. Don't forget to include your name, Social Security
number, and current address. Explain the problem and attach a copy
of the report to your letter. If you have proof that the item is
an error, it will be easy to fix. If you can't prove it as false,
the credit-reporting agency still must investigate the item. The
bureau must then report back to you the results in a month or so.
If the bureau can not verify the disputed item, then, by law, they
must remove it.
